I visited here for the first time and the taste was delicious, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was very clean.
If it was near my home or office, I would definitely go there at least three times a week

All non-veg or biryani lovers here is your place. Just having seat here and seeing others eat will make you crave for non-veg. We ordered Pahadi chicken in starters and loved it. Such good flavours and the onion dressing 🤌🏻. We also ordered Mutton Rogan josh which was so so tasty. I recommend trying this. The mutton was perfectly cooked. The quantity was also good enough for two. The place was decent and was also suitable for family dining. There is no waiting but the place is super packed. We ordered caramel custard in dessert which was nice.
The host here was super sweet and greeted every table asked if we need anything making sure we received our order. The service was good too.

This place is a gem! It’s the oldest one, and the menu is perfect for non-vegetarians. I love everything about it. The ambience gives a royal vibe. The only problem is that the washroom wasn’t clean when I visited. But otherwise, it’s a must-go place. I love it!😍😋🤌🏻❤️🙌🏻

A proper 5⭐ dining experience.
Pros:
1. Ambience: Cool, calm, aesthetic to be fair. Great for Insta feed.
2. Staff, management: The behaviour of the staff is polite and friendly.
3. Food presentation: Again, aesthetic and great for Stories.
4. Washbasins and restroom: Neat and clean area, well maintained.
5. Recommended for families.
Cons:
1. You could say the quality of the food is not as tasty as compared to the high prices. I blame inflation. Cost is slightly higher.
However, this restaurant does give a proper dining experience with everything you wish for. Hence, a 5⭐ is well deserved.
Must try.

This is existing since a long time. All mughlai food is traditionally prepared. Taste remains authentic. Excellent customer service. Food is not very spicy or very oil. It has maintained its heritage since so many years. Don't miss the paan outside. Has valet parking

We were at Pune for half a day and we searched to find that one spot to have lunch. After some googling and chatgpting, we narrowed down on this. This restaurant was suggested as one of the oldest restaurants of Pune.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. We had mutton kabab, chicken tikka kabab, and a lime soda.
The mutton kabab was super juicy and flavorful. Chicken tikka Biriyani had enough meat for two of us and the masala was unique and super flavorful.
The chicken Biriyani was very oily but can’t complain as it was super tasty.
the lime soda was decent. No complaints.
We paid about 1100 in total. The servers were very friendly and chatty. Started asking us about our purpose of visit and recommended places to visit in Pune.

George's in Pune is like a taste of nostalgia - this place has been around since 1936, serving up some seriously good grub. Had their chicken biryani and dude, it was just amazing. Juicy chicken, flavourful masala, perfect blend of spices... couldn't ask for more. And the service? Top-notch. Staff's courteous, food's quick, what's not to like?
But honestly, the real MVPs were the caramel custard. Like, I've had better, but this one hit different. Smooth, creamy, just the right amount of sweetness. Wasn't expecting much, but man, it stole the show.
Maybe it's the legacy, maybe it's the secret recipe, but George's still killing it after all these years. ₹500 for a meal, totally worth it. If you're in Pune, do yourself a favour and head over. Trust me, you won't regret it 😊.

Loved the vibes. I would suggest once should try to go earlier during the day as they do run out of a few items by 10pm, which is fair cause makes me happy that everything is fresh.
The chicken tandoori was amazing and the the chicken dehati has immense flavour🥰

One of the oldest restaurants in the East Street - Mains Street intersection, started way back during the colonial period in1936 - it has been dishing out unforgettable culinary experiences to localities and tourists alike. It's multicuisine - iranian, mughlai, chinese . But must try the mughlai and iranian for they are authentic and delightfully tasty. The biryani is it's usp and so are they kebabs . The tangri kebab is awesome . The naans are also soft and sumptuous . It's very reasonable when you feel the class of food served. The interiors in the upstairs have been newly laid out and it's bright and sparkling. A great family restaurant indeed

The best tandoori prawns I have ever had. George's is a milestone of Pune culinary history and it showed. The hospitality was great, very helpful and cheerful staff . They recommend us the right dishes. The dal gosht was excellent, the prawns were just superb, the chicken jeujeu was very tasty and soft, though we didn't have it with the complimentary rice. A must visit for non-veg lovers and I would like to especially mention Wheelchair accessibility and a management that is supportive of differently -abled customers.
